Development of the Metering and Contract Management System (MECOMS) started in the Mid 1990’s. At first it was a peak-shaving solution known as PECS. Soon this evolved into the first real MECOMS™ system. In 2005 a major new version was introduced, built upon Microsoft’s Dynamics AX.
By now, MECOMS™ has become a reference product, offering a complete solution for all types of utility companies. Ferranti Computer Systems makes continuous investments in understanding the market needs, best practices and translating this in an industry-class cost-to-serve solution.
