Ferranti is looking for experienced energy and utility professionals, to help build the international expansion of its MECOMS™ product.

MECOMS™ is an ERP solution for energy and utility companies, based on Microsoft Dynamics AX. MECOMS™ is the result of more than 30 years of experience in the utility industry, and is rapidly expanding its footprint on an international scale.

Major software companies, such as Avanade/Accenture, Tata, and Logica have chosen to partner with Ferranti and offer MECOMS™ as preferred solution for energy and utility companies.

Function Description

You implement our software product MECOMS™ in the German utilities and energy market. Throughout your thorough knowledge of the business processes, you can communicate with the client regarding his requirements. The writing of the analysis of the requirements and the defending of our solutions towards the customer are an interesting part of your function roles. You are able to perform basic configurations in the system.

Your profile

You have:

  • 3 years practical experience in an implementation/consultant related role, by preference in an ERP environment (CRM, billing, ...)
  • strong analytical
  • presentation skills (ppt)
  • A university degree
  • Product demonstration experience
  • Issue management experience
  • Language knowledge: mother tongue English and strong writing and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of Dynamics AX, SAP or other ERP solutions is a plus
  • Interest towards: the utilities and energy sector
