Ferranti is looking for experienced energy and utility professionals, to help build the international expansion of its MECOMS™ product.

MECOMS™ is an ERP solution for energy and utility companies, based on Microsoft Dynamics AX. MECOMS™ is the result of more than 30 years of experience in the utility industry, and is rapidly expanding its footprint on an international scale.

MECOMS™ is Microsoft‘s only recommended solution for energy and utility companies across the globe. In only a few years MECOMS™ has grown into a major international challenger, recognized by renowned industry analysts, such as Gartner, IDC and OVUM. Major software companies, such as Avanade/Accenture, Tata, and Logica have chosen to partner with Ferranti and offer MECOMS™ as preferred solution for energy and utility companies.

Function Description

You support the Solutions Team in designing MECOMS™ solutions for the utility market. As Solution Consultant, you work closely with the International Sales team. Combining technical expertise with great communication skills (multi-lingual) allows you to create best-in-class proposals.

You are a team player who wants to grow in an dynamic, International oriented team. You are eager to learn, and want to become an expert in the MECOMS™ solution, allowing you to support prospects and customers in the best possible way.

Your tasks include

  • Prepare and present the solutions Ferranti is offering in the utilities market
  • You will translate functional requirements into application solutions
  • Support the solutions team in RFI/RFP answers
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the market (both business and IT)
  • Interacting with suppliers and subcontracters
  • You will organize meetings and workshops with the customer

Profile

You have:

  • Good language skills (German, French, English)
  • A master’s degree (eg Economics) or a Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient presentation (ppt)
  • Native Dutch or French
  • Strong writing- and presentation skills in English, French, German
  • Thorough knowledge of Office applications
  • Background in the energy sector or experience with ERP solutions is a major asset
