MECOMS™ Contract Management

The Contract Management module deals with

  • and the relations with customers and agreements.

The module allows definition of products and services and linking tariffs to them. The products can then be allocated to contracts and customers.

The Contract Management module allows modelling of any type of contract in the system. MECOMS™ is capable of handling both pre-pay and post-pay as well as advance payment type of contracts.

Forced automation

Forced automation and standardization of complaints and contract settlements lead to clear, regulated communication with the customer. Automation offers the user simplified processing and enhanced monitoring. An error rate r, enables him or her to correctly inform the customer while avoiding call backs and escalations.

The MECOMS™ Sales & Quotation module is an extension of the MECOMS™ CRM and Contract Management modules.

It supports the sales and quotation process and produces business contracts.

This module is used for the complex requirements of some B2B parties. It includes broker margins, energy exchange linkage and advance margin calculations.

MECOMS™ Billing

A lightning-fast billing engine

A MECOMS™ background process continuously calculates invoice lines, as soon as information becomes available. When invoices are generated, the individual lines are already calculated in advance and only need to be combined into an invoice.

Furthermore, MECOMS™ uses load-balancing to speed up the billing run.

Because work has been prepared in the background, the billing run is lightning-fast. Even configurations of up to 27 million customers run smoothly on standard hardware.

This way, MECOMS™ minimizes the time to translate meter data to bills, and bills to cash.

Complex contracts and invoices

The specificities of contracts are seamlessly taken into account by the billing system. Scheduled and on-demand meter readings are handled automatically. Future price changes are used for calculating advances.

Invoices can be elementary ones for private customers or complex invoices with multiple consumption addresses and/or products. Invoices can be printed and delivered by post or they can be presented electronically.

MECOMS™ books all invoicing data in the general ledger of the company. This is done automatically, both for individual and bulk bookings.

Collections

Retail customers pay sooner when they receive easy-to-read, accurate bills. Customers have the option of paying via a variety of methods, such as direct debiting from bank accounts, transferring funds online and putting credit cards on file to be automatically charged each month.
